Antistatic Workflow App – ACO Studio
A tablet kiosk workflow management system for Antistatic, built during my internship at ACO Studio.
In 2024, I completed an internship at ACO Studio, a digital studio that creates tailored digital products and applications. Under the guidance of my mentor Vadim, I contributed directly to a client production project for Antistatic, a 3D printing and design company in Antwerp.
The goal was to build a dedicated workflow management application to track 3D printing projects end-to-end. Each project progresses through five distinct operational stages: Received, Draft, Prototype, Ready, and Finished. Workshop employees use tablet kiosks positioned across the floor to monitor and transition projects across these stages—functioning as a specialized, real-time Kanban system.
Building on an early proof-of-concept, I stepped in to put my design and development skills into practice in a real-world production environment. I took active ownership across both UI/UX design and frontend implementation, turning initial concepts into a polished, production-ready product while refining my skillset throughout the lifecycle.
Key Areas of Contribution & Skill Application
- Client Collaboration & Requirement Discovery: Sat directly with the Antistatic team to analyze their daily workshop operations, gather needs, and translate their physical processes into clear digital interactions.
- UI/UX Design in Figma: Applied user-centered design principles to architect intuitive, touch-friendly layouts, iterating on components based on team and client feedback.
- Frontend Development & Responsive Styling: Developed clean, maintainable components and responsive layouts tailored for physical tablet kiosks, mobile screens, and desktop browsers.
- Design Systems & Usability: Refined micro-interactions and touch targets for workshop conditions, ensuring employees could quickly and accurately update job statuses even in busy production environments.

- Stage Progression & Tracking: Rapid status updates with minimal friction for workshop operators.
- Cross-Platform Accessibility: Seamlessly usable across mounted tablet kiosks, mobile devices, and desktop computers.
Working on this project provided an ideal environment to test and expand my technical capabilities against real business requirements and physical constraints. By bridging user research, interface design, and clean frontend engineering, I deepened my ability to deliver functional, high-value digital products.
